Push Email Application settings in non-Blackberry phone

Posted by Shisuka Saturday, February 27, 2010 0 comments

To enjoy the service of Push E-mail Blackberry, users do not have to have a BlackBerry phone. The reason is now the BlackBerry Push Email applications can be applied in a non-BalckBerry phone, using the Blackberry Connect for Nokia. Mobile-phones that support this service are: Communicator 9300, 9500, and E90, and another Nokia E-Series (E50, E51, E61, E61i, E62, E65, and E70).

Its application and guidelines can be downloaded at http://www.businessoftware.nokia.com/blackberry_downloads.php

As for the steps as follows:
1.  Before you download the Blackberry Connect software, be sure to check the firmware
version of the Nokia mobile phone, (just type: * # 0000 #) e.g, for Nokia E61, the
version is: 3.0633.09.04, then downloaded to the BlackBerry Connect 4.0, version
    7.45.0
2.  Download the software into your PC, then switch on the Nokia PC suite to install this
    software into the Nokia E61.
3.  Once installed on the Nokia E61, it will create a folder on the BlackBerry menu. Open
the folder, and select the Settings menu, then activate the BlackBerry service with
changing the menu, and the BlackBerry service: ON
4.  After the BlackBerry service in the ON position and connected, then you can see the
PIN from Nokia Device menu info. PIN and IMEI are on record as it would be
useful to be registered in BlackBerry Webclient (BWC) http://xl.blackberry.com/.
Prior to registration in BWC, firstly do registration through the menu of Network
Service Info> Host Routing and select the menu of Register Now. Then do
registrations at BWC (full guide can be found in the Create New Account BB on this
blog). Once registered on the BWC, you can make registration a few email accounts
that will be entered into the  BlackBerry Connect for Nokia. Do not forget after adding
emails account on the BWC, do the Send Service Books.
5.  If Service Books is successfully received in the Nokia E61, it will create each email
    folders into the Messaging menu
    Menu> BlackBerry> Settings> Service Info> Service Books
If all steps succeed, then the BlackBerry push email service on the Nokia E61 can be used. Ensure logo appears on the display of Nokia, as it means that it is connected with the server of RIM BlackBerry. However, if only half the logo appears or there is a slash in the logo, it means that it has not been yet connected with RIM's BlackBerry server, so the push mail service can not be used for these conditions.

Note: For another series of Nokia mobile phone, the process is almost the same.
If your BlackBerry is a type of Enterprise, it is necessary to do the following steps: Enterprise Activation, select menu> BlackBerry> Activation for registration of enterprise activation.

Posted by Shisuka Sunday, February 14, 2010 0 comments

E71 is an evolution of the E61 series with Qwerty keyboard. As a smart phone, the ability to access e-mail from a cell phone is a necessity. Therefore, the use of E71 supports the most recent popular email services, those are Microsoft Exchange, Yahoo mail, Gmail and Hotmail.

To serve an optimized email service, surfing activities in cyberspace can be done with WLAN facilities and HSDPA networks. A new, build-in GPS also available on the E71.

Another thing that is nice from this latest series is a radio feature and 3.15 megapixel camera on the back plus a little camera at the front which allows you to do a conference call. To access the internet, E71 offers a fairly complete solutions, ranging from 3G, HSDPA 3.6 Mbps and GPRS class 32 which has a maximum theoretical download up to 296 Kbps and 177.6 Kbps upload.

For connection facilities, E71 provides many solutions, ranging from Bluetooth version 2.0 and infrared data with speed up to 115 Kbps. In addition, there are data cable, USB and a new connection feature, called a barcode.

Although E71 is categorized in business phone, but the music facility is complete enough, those are music player with unique features in the N series standards, like the equalizer, shuffle, genres, play lists, bass booster, and composer. Unlike his predecessor E61i, E71 is equipped with A2DP stereo Bluetooth capability. Music format that can be played includes MP3, WMA and AAC. On the menu is also available direct access to  Nokia music store via internet.

E71 also has a feature to adopt the latest version of Quick office 4.1.35.0, in which its ability covers auto find and replace word, plus advanced formatting for ease of set the writing on the screen. Also it is completed by a variety of tools to edit the script though: Word, Excel and Power Point.

Type of display used the landscape concept, size, or 2.36 inch or 48 x 37 mm with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. Display screen on the home screen is more dynamic and full of icon. For example at the bottom of the home screen can now be placed icon of notification SMS / MMS, email and so forth.

Best Camera

Samsung also recently released a camera phone Samsung G810 series. Display phone is similar with Samsung i8510 innov8. Both of them has the same OS Symbian 60, HSDPA support, Bluetooth A2DP, a built-in GPS plus geo tagging. The difference, G810 is only equipped by magnitude 5 megapixel camera, while the Samsung i8510 INNOV8 brings 8 megapixels.

G810 mobile phone is a development of G600 model. The improvement is allocated in the operating system, by completing the Symbian 3rd Edition. Also in GPS support, Wi-Fi and various other facilities.

G810, which has received awards as the best camera phone in the annual event of European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) 2008, was equipped by facility capable camera. With a 5 megapixel resolution (2560 x 1920 pixels), the resulting image quality is very good. This is due to the sharpness of the camera and 4x digital zoom capability and 3x optical inner zoom.

Other features in camera include full white balance, effects, macro, red eye reduction, face detection, frame and beach / sport / indoor / sunset / fireworks scene modes, anti-shake, wide dynamic range, choice of up to ISO 800, and GPS geo tagging. Internet is using the WAP 2.0 / browsers from Safari and have been supporting xHTML and HTML full-screen typical sery60. Features in browser include screen rotate, zoom, page info, save the page, show the toolbar, and view images.

The screen rely on TFT LCD  standard 256K colors. Screen resolution is 240 x 320 pixels with a size range of 2.6-inch screen. Screen brings unique user interface 60 series. On the main screen, it can also be raised by 6 icons featured in the active standby mode menu. One size screen can handle up to 7 lines of text in SMS menus.
